Cut Knife-Turtleford Candidate: John E. Nesdoly My name is John Nesdoly. I am the Leader of the Western Independence Party of Saskatchewan and the WIP candidate in the Cut Knife-Turtleford constituency. I am running in this election because Saskatchewan is at a crossroads and the electorate is supposedly faced with only two options; the New Democratic Party of Saskatchewan (NDP), and the Saskatchewan Party. While the NDP plunges Saskatchewan further and further into debt, the Saskatchewan Party looks on and maybe makes the occaisional squawk. Unfortunately, nobody knows where the Saskatchewan Party truly stands on anything. One minute, Brad Wall is praising the Trade, Investment, and Labour Mobility Agreement (TILMA) to the skies, but when the NDP shuns TILMA then suddenly the so-called Opposition is also against it - all for the sake of short-term political expediency. We believe that TILMA is a crucial first step into the creation of an independent Western Canadian state. Furthermore, we are a party that is dedicated to removing trade barriers of any kind. Under a Western Independence Party government, all barriers to economic growth will be removed, uniliaterally if need be. The WIP is also firmly dedicated to putting the power of government back into the hands of the people where it belongs. Even within Canada, we will assert our provincial jurisdiction fully in all areas. Furthermore, if and when the people of Saskatchewan raise their voice through refernda and give the government an unquestionable mandate on any issue then we will use all powers neccessary to carry it out and assert whatever the sovereign will of Saskatchewan's people shall be, notwithstanding any objections from Ottawa. Finally, a WIP government is also committed to truly balanced budgets at all costs. A vote for the WIP is not a wasted vote. It is a vote for real change that only I have the courage to carry out. Not only do I live and work in this constituency, but my roots in this region are very deep. I was born and raised in Shellbrook. I know thousands of my constituents by name and they know me by name. They also know my father as he was the MP for the area from 1972 until 1974. As an MLA, I will be my constituents' servant and not their master. Vote John Nesdoly for real change. Thank you and God Bless Western Canada. John E. Nesdoly |
