"We support Israel's right to exist and to defend itself."

This motion was passed unanimously at the Convention on December 1, 2007.  As a positive method of denying certain persons or parties the use of the Western Independence Party of Saskatchewan as a platform for espousing their beliefs, openly stating our support for the State of Israel is preferrable to denying the freedom of expression to those who would not support the State of Israel, and would use membership in the Party or candidacy in an election under the banner of the Western Independence Party of Saskatchewan to promote views contrary to this statement of support.

They are welcome to freely express their opinions but will not be allowed the opportunity to use the Western Independence Party of Saskatchewan to do so.
